We work from a simple belief: a family facing illness, treatment or crisis first needs somewhere to breathe — and only then everything else.
The story
Who we are
Mechayeh Nefashos is a charity that works out of responsibility and care for families in need, for widows and orphans, and for Torah scholars in poverty. All year round we give practical and family support: dignified food distributions including meat and fish, accompaniment and support for families in hardship, and help at the hardest moments.
The charity also provides rest apartments for couples going through fertility treatment, for the sick and for families with children who have special needs — so there can be rest, renewed strength and hope. We work with sensitivity, discretion and dignity, to return quiet and security to the home.
Rest is not a luxury. For a family in the middle of treatment, it is part of the treatment.

The process
How it works
Three steps, with no committees and no interviews. You tell us only what you are comfortable telling us; the rest is on us.
You contact us
Fill in a short form on the site — how to reach you, what is needed, and for which dates. No pointless required fields.
We read and reply
A small team reads the request and comes back to you. If something is unclear we will ask, and if we are not the right address we will say so honestly.
We arrange it
For a stay, we confirm the dates and email you the address, arrival instructions and a contact person. For a distribution or financial help, we arrange it with you directly.
Privacy
Your information
Request details are stored encrypted, reachable only by a small verified team, and deleted once the retention period ends. We never sell, share or publish anything about the people who turn to us — no name, no story, no photograph.
